Saint-Gobain established its presence in India by acquiring a majority stake in Grindwell Norton Ltd. in 1996, and thereafter went on to consolidate and strengthen its presence within the country. We have adopted a systematic focus in launching our individual businesses in India and currently have eight more companies offering various products. We place great emphasis on investing in manufacturing activities to fuel growth. This allows us to bring in advanced technological competence to provide state-of-the-art products to our customers.
