Point of Care Diagnostic Kit for Cardiac Troponin I [HeartChk ]

By CSIR - CENTRAL SCIENTIFIC INSTRUMENTS ORGANISATION
Cardiac biomarkers are released in case of stress or damage to heart tissues due to absence of blood supply and can lead to heart attack if not treated on time. Detection of these biomarkers can be critical for prognosis of patients with complains of chest pain. Conventional methods like ELISA are time-taking, costly and need skilled professionals. There is need for cost-efficient hand-held PoC device which could analyze samples fast and accurately.

Quantitative detection of Cardiac Troponin I biomarker • Can be used by healthcare professional in point-of-care centers, diagnostic centers, etc. • Fast diagnosis and low cost which could make it ideal for urban as well as rural clinics. • Open ended platform. By change of bioreceptors, device and chip can be used for many other analytes
