Bispyribac-Sodium is a systemic, post-emergence herbicide primarily used in rice (paddy) fields to control broad-spectrum weeds, including grasses, broadleaf weeds, and sedges. It belongs to the pyrimidinyl carboxy herbicide group and works by inhibiting the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme, which is essential for weed growth.
