Sulfosulfuron is a selective, systemic post-emergence herbicide primarily used for controlling broadleaf and grassy weeds in wheat crops. It belongs to the sulfonylurea herbicide group and works by inhibiting the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme, which is essential for weed growth.
