Metribuzin is a selective, systemic herbicide belonging to the triazinone chemical class. It is widely used in agriculture for both pre-emergence and post-emergence control of a broad spectrum of grasses and broadleaf weeds in crops such as soybeans, potatoes, tomatoes, and sugarcane.
