Diafenthiuron is a thiourea-based pesticide widely used as an insecticide and acaricide to control various agricultural pests. It is effective against phytophagous mites (Tetranychidae, Tarsonemidae), whiteflies (Aleyrodidae), aphids (Aphididae), and jassids (Jassidae) on crops such as cotton, various field and fruit crops, ornamentals, and vegetables.
