Effect in Poultry
Animal feed containing Bacillus licheniformis significantly increases body weight in chickens and also improves feed conversion ratio. It also results in increased protein and free amino acid contents and decreased fat content in chickens. Thus, it improves broiler productivity and meet quality in chicken.
Inhibition of Pathogens in animals
Bacillus licheniformis lowers incidence of post weaning diarrhoea due to E. coli infection. It also improves feed conversion ratio and carcass quality and body weight in animals.
It helps to restore bacterial balance and assist in digestion and assimilation. These Bacillus licheniformis colonise the gut and help prevent pathogens taking hold .The Bacillus licheniformis are used in the breakdown of the food into smaller, more readily absorbed nutrients. So pets will make more efficient use of the food fed
