RF Capacitance Level Transmitter

The RF Capacitance level transmitter is ideally suited for level measurement of liquids and can be used with slurries under certain conditions. The material may be stored in open containers or in pressurized tanks. The performance of the instrument is not affected by the properties of the material such as conductivity, corrosiveness or viscosity.
The instrument is certified to International Standards such as CE, IEC and is suitable for ex-proof areas.
The instrument works on the field proven RF- technology. A RF signal is applied to the probe and the tank(reference). A change in the level results in the change in the admittance between the probe and the tank. This change is measured by the electronics and a corresponding output is provided.
