Softener Resin or SuperEx S 20 Na is a premium grade strong acid cation exchange resin containing nuclear sulphonic acid groups. It is used to remove hardness from the water. Water softening removes hardness ions like calcium and magnesium from water, replacing them with sodium ions through ion exchange resin. It is supplied with a standard particle size distribution to provide good kinetics and minimum pressure drop. It exhibits excellent physical and chemical stability along with good operating characteristics.
