The idea of Walkaroo was conceived in the early 2012 by a group of entrepreneurs, most of whom had a rich legacy in footwear industry spanning over 20 years. The vision was to Democratize Fashion in Footwear Industry by offering high quality footwear at affordable price for all. The vision is best poised to address a big market like India, where domestic consumption drives the demand.
Today, Walkaroo Group has well established itself as one of the leading manufacturers of PU Footwear in India. Walkaroo Group of companies offer Footwear products ranging from slippers, sandals, flipflops, casual shoes and formal shoes for men, women & kids under its flagship brand “Walkaroo”.
Walkaroo Group currently operates 12 manufacturing units across 6 states and employs over 6,000 people directly and provides for indirect employment to over 4,000 skilled & semiskilled workers with an overall manufacturing capacity of 500,000 pairs of footwear per day.
