Cape Electric is established in KanyaKumari during 1996
The business started as a reactive power compensation solution provider for wind turbines which is one of the challenging application due to high temperature, harmonics as well as fast change in demand of reactive power. The panels still operating in this harsh environment for more than 20 years is the mark of our quality.
During 1998 we started establishing our business all over India starting with branch offices in Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai etc. Surge Protection was an unknown subject for the industries in India during this time. Our collaboration with M/S OBO Bettermann GmbH & Co, Germany as the distributor for India helped us to establish ourselves as a leader in providing solutions against failure due to transient surges. We have conducted more than 200 seminars all over India for various industries and as a result the subject of Surge Protection became known for the engineering community. The initial efforts are continued in the market through our subsidiaries LP consultants International Pvt Ltd and Pro-Lite Engineers Pvt Ltd.
We are the first in introducing several innovative products starting form Surge Protection to DC combiner solutions for Solar in the Indian market.
In association with leading German and Spanish manufacturers we specializes in the area of Insulated electricity distribution solutions for Industries. Our UV resistant and high IP protected panels are commonly used due to its advantages of non corrosive behavior and long life. For Industrial power connection solutions confirming to IS and IEC standards, we market PCE products from Austria. Time switches and motion sensors manufactured by theben marked by Cape are accepted in various industrial projects where high quality is of demand.
