The ambitious government of India plan to build solar power system for 100GW -40GW Roof top and 60GW Utility scale by 2022 is Rs. Five Lakhs Crore business and will generate 1 million direct jobs, full time employment (FTE) for project execution ,operation and maintenance alone. FTE generated in manufacturing sector with MAKE IN INDIA emphasis will be equal in numbers. The biggest current priority is need for training program in construction and commissioning of solar plants in addition to operation and maintenance of solar plants, skill needed for O&M in performing data monitoring.
